We just buried my mom and used Sunset for the services. I was so happy with the staff, Howard the Director was wonderful Everyone made the service special even though we were hurting this helped in knowing my Mom Rebecca was have a wonderful service. I want to sincerely thank the staff especially Juan Carlos and Sylvia Moreno who were the first individuals who assisted my mother in choosing her service options from the casket, prayer cards, and even her headstone. My mom was very pleased with her selections knowing that she chose what she wanted when the time came. Also when the time did come Victor Perez Jr. was the individual who came and picked up my mom and he was very sympathetic to my sister and I and explained exactly what was going to be done. He handed us his business card and advised that he would meet with us the following day at 10am to complete the final arrangements. We did meet with him and he was very patient and explained all that he was doing and what was required for the death certificate. Also he asked us about when we would like the services and offered us to have the mass services there at the chapel because of the church restrictions and offered the name of a Deacon who had performed services there before and also a lady to perform the rosary, who did an amazing job and we came to find out she knew us and our mother. Victor made a very difficult situation that my sister and I were going through much more manageable. He also offered us to have some beautiful signature magnets that we could have blessed and presented to me and my sister along with the crucifixes and also asked if we we would be interested in purchasing three that said grandma along with the two that said mom. To us this was thoughtful and something that we were not aware of and something that we all would have for a lifetime. I also must say that our mom look so beautiful and peaceful and that made us very happy to see that. The entire staff from the beginning to the end were amazing and I would highly recommend Sunset Memorial Oaks. I would like to personally thank them for their time and superb customer service.
